So guess who FINALLY has a job!
I'll be working at a shop in the almost too adorable town in which I live which caters mainly to surfers and tourists. It's a higher-end souvenir shop, selling handcarved wooden tikis and replica Polynesian weaponry, so it's a step up from "Da Kine" t-shirts and surfing Obama bobblehead dolls tat you'd find pretty much everywhere else.
Of course, being that I don't start until the first, I have one last batch of rent and electric to scrape together before I start making any dough, so once again, I shall shamelessly hock my wares by promoting
my shop, Domestic Voodoo, which still has recession sales going on and also a lot of cool new stuff!
Also, I'm open for painting and drawing commissions, so if you would like one, I have already pretty low prices and also a sliding scale, so ask away!
And as always, you can get yourself a copy of our very first, extremely cool
Snap Crackle Pop book if you love yourself enough or have a super good friend.
Thanks a lot to everyone who made my four months of joblessness bearable! You've been amazing.
Lots of love to all y'all!
And YAY, congratulations on your job too, that's so awesome! I kind of love the idea of working at a gun shop/shooting range, that could be kind of fun. Especially in California if the Mythbusters should happen to come in...
Anyway, so long as you provide great customer service, you will have no problem with this job.
Ah, she actually JUST asked me about Don, I'll be sure to pass on the word! I'm also having conflicts with WHAT to send you, I've got a few things that I'd love to send your way, its just the whole "shipping" thing I'm unsure of. Get a box? Which size? etc. I might as well just send you all these trinkets, stop myself from debating which you'd like better. :3
Thanks, doll! I'm really excited to work there, everyone is really awesome, especially the owner of the place! He's probably the cutest older guy I've ever met, he's got that rustic, "been everywhere, seen everything" vibe to him. I've shaken his hand a few times, its like old leather. I almost just want to give the guy a hug! ^_^ Oo, that sure would be fancy if Mythbusters showed up! They're based out of San Francisco, about an hour and a half from where I live. Ah, and now I'm off to daydream of Jamie and Adam...:3
