I discovered your art and your comic probably about two years ago, through your sister of course. But then I didn't save the link AND I forgot your deviantart name, so it took almost a year and a half to find you again. It basically went like this: in a pique of frustration I sat down and devoted literally two hours to trawling through lilyfox's entire gallery looking for her mentions of you and hopefully a link. And then I found it, and I found you! And I've been happily devoted ever since. : )
What I'm saying is, ignore the troll and bask in open flattery of your compelling/talented mad skills.

That... doesn't sound creepy, does it? Deviantwatching is a perfectly acceptable form of stalkery. Yep.

Ha! No, it doesn't sound creepy in the least, it sounds marvelous! I'm glad you liked my comic so much that you spent all that time and effort in finding it again (of course, you could always have asked my sister, as she will pimp me out whenever she can). I'm incredibly flattered, and I hope current and future strips don't disappoint!

I figure the troll is probably some teenager with low self esteem who feels like he can make his mark on the world by treating people like they're scum, and he is not scum. Which of course, is very backwards, but hey, we all gotta get there our own way.

Thanks again for the message! You rock!

Ask her! *forehead smack* It's so simple!
Well, except for the whole intimidation factor. Y'know, lowly nobody daring to approach the Great Artist, especially about something besides art. Now I'm not as afraid to speak up in general because I understand the power of a thoughtful compliment (although, don't get me wrong, OMG ur so good! can be flattering as well).

Current strips definitely do not disappoint! I'm very much in love with your linework, your wonderful/original characters, recurring jokes, and, well, yeah. It's pretty much all marvelous. : D

Ha! You don;t have to worry about approaching my sister -- she's about as intimidating as Funshine Bear. It might be because I've known her my whole life and have photos of her with our mom's lipstick all over her face, striking a Vogue pose on the lawn. She's just a regular gal, who happens to be a really good artist. She's baffled by her popularity, and I'm sure she wouldn't want anyone else to be put off by it.

Glad you dig the strip! I have a lot of fun doing it, so it means a lot when other people can get in on the fun and enjoy it with me.

... I'd love to see such photos. Actually, I'm gonna go dig out all those baby pictures my mom took of me and my sisters. The very best one, of course, is of the middle child when she was two. Imagine, if you will, a chubby, dark-haired toddler sitting on the floor. Behind her, an open cupboard stocked with cereal and other boxed foods. Everywhere - floor, lap, cupboard, hair - scattered Cheerios. And of course she's grinning like a fiend. (We've thanked Mom several times for having a sense of humor about such things!)

Ha! That sounds like something I would have done. Great blackmail fodder for later, when boyfriends are involved - at least, that was my father's attitude toward such photos as my Potty Time picture...

Hahaha! My dad hasn't shown my naked bathtime pics yet (deliberately, anyway) - he says he's going to put all the worst ones together for a grand slideshow at my wedding reception. From the look of things, that'll be another five to ten years from now. Now I know how grateful I should be! Man, if dear old Dad had pulled out those suckers when I was sixteen, I think I would've died of embarrassment and reanimated myself so I could kill him! How on earth did you get through such an ordeal gracefully?

By not dating till I was 21. ;)

Well, that wasn't the main reason, but it sure helped! Lucky thing too, The Boyfriend is even goofier and more potentially self-embarrassing than I am. I'm sure you'll be even luckier.

Whoa, where'd you move? Still in Hawaii or different place with mountains?

Btw, I think the story is subtle but very entertaining and anyone who has a problem with it can take a hike. There's constructive criticism and then there's trolling, which is for bitch-babies with nothing better to do.

Still in Hawaii, just a better part of it. I used to live in this crappy ghettorious town with evil crackhead neighbors, and now I have this wonderful little cottage up north, in an area of the island where, it seems, everyone is in a good mood at all times. Those gecko photos on my gallery were from my new place.

Thanks! I saw this kid's art and I figure he just needs to find a way to feel better about himself, so he tries to trash other people. Ha! Bitch-babies... too right!
