This is fan art for the awesome comic, Severed, done by

a hilarious and much better illustrated comic centered around the Hogwarts Staff breakfast table and usually depicting the authoress harassing Snape in some wonderfully inappropriate way. If you haven't read it yet, go do it now! NOW! It'll make you want bacon, if you don't already all the time.

After reading them all in one ago, I couldn't help wanting to do a bit of fan art for it, so I whipped this up. If you like Snape's coffee mug, you can go to

I love that you've done a fan art of Severed, and one that's really funny and charming. Special kudos goes to Snape's very sexy waistcoat as well. And I wouldn't worry about the bacon issue. I think you did a great job -truly what we fanfiction/artists are all about - paying tribute to what we love.

Thanks a bunch! I'm so glad that you liked it. It was important to me not to piss off the fans of the comic, because I myself love the comic so much, and I had a lot of fun doing it!

I think one of the greatest compliments you can pay to an artist/author is to create fanart/fanfiction based on their work. I mean, I found this in Proto's Favourites, so she must love it as well. I believe that those who truly love to create and enjoy other's creations totally understand the love behind a tribute like this, especially when it's done so well.

A lovely homage to my favorite comic!! And someone was seriously taking issues with UK bacon vs. American bacon? Yeah, because that's why I enjoy webcomics...for the accurate depiction of breakfast meats. FFS. Very nice work!!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! And you never know, some folks get awful serious about their breakfast meats. For my money, bacon is tasty no matter how you slice it.
