This is a different version of the first tiki design, and it's the one I was most excited about. I think these guys look great in their crazy colors, and I think as a repeating pattern on a t-shirt or a tote bag, it would look pretty neat. Again, I may have to get some help with Photoshop before I can submit it anywhere as a design, but I'm hopeful.

Just a repeat of before, a quick breakdown of the tikis represented here, in the order they're standing... these are the main four tiki gods used in Hawaiian designs. Of course, every tiki artist has a different way of doing them, but this is mine.
Ku: the main tiki god. Warlike, god of strength.
Kane: the creator of earth and man, giver of life.
Kanaloa: the "squid god", god of the ocean. Compassionate and loving.
Lono: Fertility god, god of music and of peace.

These look awesome. I'm going to look up more about the gods. I love mythology, especially the pantheistic, but I don't know anything about tiki gods. I especially like the sound of Lono, but I think your design for Ku looks the coolest of these!

The tikis are super cool. In Hawaiian culture, tikis can be anything that represents an ancestor or a god, but these aren't living gods. There are a lot of super cool gods and goddesses in Hawaiian mythology, but only those that are not considered "alive" can be represented in tiki. For example, Pele is the goddess of the volcano, and a huge bitch by the way, but since she's still considered to be active ad living, you never see her as a tiki. Kinda cool.

As a part of my job, I have to know a lot of this stuff, and it's always a lot of fun.

Oh man, I wanna hag out with Lono and Kanaloa now...heck, I'd throw a barbecue for all of them!

...Those actually would be really neat names for pets, now that I think of it.
